We had an absolutely amazing summer touring with Space Bacon! We traveled to new and wonderful Montana communities as well as returning to communities we visited last year. Montana, you really are something special.
We spent this last summer touring Montana libraries with our Rock Opera” Squidbelly.” What an incredible time! Thank you to all of the wonderful librarians who made it happen! We are in production of a new musical which we will perform this summer. Stay tuned!!!
The food was fantastic! We would walk to a cafe in downtown Chicago and have the best breakfast ever. Perfectly toasted rye bread, oven roasted tomatoes, homemade mozzarella cheese, farm egg. Truly great.
Chicago is a very special place. What an incredible city. We played at the Southside Hub in Hyde Park and everyone was incredible. We had great food, went to the Art Institute and were truly inspired. I really can’t say enough, what a place!!!
I admire the farmer. My gardens improve every year but we’re not quite there yet. We delayed this farmer who was eager to get back to his fields.
We can’t help ourselves, even when we have a ten hour drive ahead of us we still have to stop and see a gigantic corn palace!
After playing Roslyn, we happened upon the town of Sprague. An old town founded in the 1800′s. Only five hundred people live there now. We met Gary and Dorothy who were chatting in their old chairs in the antique store they own. People find things buried and dumped across the countryside and bring them in.
We played one of our favorite places, Roslyn WA. You may know it from Northern Exposure fame. “Markos Place” in Roslyn is filled with the most amazing people! We had a blast. Thanks to everyone in Roslyn, you guys are incredible!
The tour has begun! We played our opening show in Astoria, Oregon with our friends and family in attendance. The opening show was a huge success and a lovely send off.
